Defensor Fortis

Standing 4 inches tall, this embroidered patch is a tribute to the Air Force’s law enforcement legacy, past and present.

Designed in olive drab and dark denim, Defensor Fortis honors those who have served as Air Police, Security Police, and today’s Security Forces. While the titles have changed, the mission never has: Defend the Force.

This patch was created with deep respect for those who stood the line “back then,” those who carried the badge through transitions, and those still Defending today. It represents shared duty, long hours, quiet professionalism, and a lineage that continues across generations.

Originally created at the request of former Defenders, this piece is offered for collectors, veterans, and anyone who understands what the motto truly means.
